Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
This privacy policy explains what personal data Proxynet ("we") collects through proxynet.io and app.proxynet.io, why we process it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
The service is operated by Proxynet LTD, registered in the United Kingdom at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. For any privacy request, write to contact@proxynet.io.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what we need to run the service, bill it, and prevent abuse.
- Account data: email address, a hashed form of your password, and the name and billing details you enter in the panel.
- Payment data: amount, currency, date, and the transaction reference returned by the payment provider. We never see or store your card number; card details are processed directly by the provider.
- Usage data: how many proxies you create, which product and location you choose, traffic consumed, session duration, and connection counts.
- Technical connection data: the IP address you use to reach the panel and the proxy endpoints, authentication timestamps, and error logs.
- Support data: emails, live-chat messages, and any files you attach to them.
- Website data: page view statistics and preference cookies such as language and theme.
3. Why we process it
Each category is processed for a specific, limited purpose:
- Performance of a contract: creating your account, provisioning the proxies you buy, metering usage, and issuing invoices.
- Legitimate interest: measuring service quality, planning capacity, detecting fraud and abuse, and protecting our infrastructure from attacks.
- Legal obligation: keeping invoice records required by tax and accounting law, and responding to lawful requests from competent authorities.
- Consent: sending product announcements and offers only if you opted in. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Your proxy traffic
We do not inspect, store, or sell the content of the sites you reach through the service. The records we keep are limited to connection metadata needed to operate the network: connection time, exit IP used, volume transferred, and the authentication result.
We do not use these records for any purpose beyond billing, capacity management, and abuse investigation. They are deleted at the end of the retention period described below.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with the providers needed to deliver the service, and only to the extent needed:
- Payment providers, to collect payments and process refunds.
- Infrastructure and hosting providers, to run our servers and network.
- Communication and support tools, to deliver email and live-chat messages.
- Competent authorities, only on a lawful, written, binding request, and only within its scope.
6. Retention
Account and invoice records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Connection metadata is deleted once the operational need has passed. Support correspondence is kept for a reasonable period after the request is closed.
When you close your account, data we are not legally required to keep is deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR, KVKK and similar laws), you have the right to:
- Ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy.
- Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Have data deleted where we have no legal obligation to keep it.
- Object to processing and ask us to restrict it.
- Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw any consent you have given.
8. Cookies
We use session and preference cookies. They remember settings such as your language and theme; they do not build advertising profiles. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time, though blocking essential cookies may break parts of the panel.
9. Security
We encrypt data in transit, store passwords in an irreversible form, and limit access to administrative interfaces to authorised staff. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The current version is always published on this page with the date above. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the panel or by email.
11. Contact
For any privacy question, request, or complaint, write to contact@proxynet.io. We respond within the period required by law.
