Which type of proxy should you use for RuneScape?
RuneScape proxy is Proxynet's Gaming Proxy product: it gives your account a European exit IP that doesn't change for as long as you hold the plan, connected to RuneScape via SOCKS5 or HTTPS through Proxifier. The IPs come from a mix of real ISP and datacenter infrastructure across 70+ countries, and you pick the exit location yourself when you order.
Jagex runs an aggressive bot-detection and account-security system on RuneScape and Old School RuneScape; it readily flags traffic from known datacenter IP ranges and can restrict suspicious accounts. That makes standard datacenter proxies unreliable for players running heavy skilling sessions, an automated flipping tool, or several accounts at once.
Your Gaming Proxy IPs are static, so each account always connects from the same exit — a consistency that matters for not tripping Jagex's suspicious-activity detection.
The advantage of using a proxy on RuneScape
RuneScape's economy runs largely through the Grand Exchange; players running simultaneous flipping or skilling across multiple accounts risk mass restrictions once those accounts are seen connecting from the same IP. Assigning a separate Gaming Proxy IP to each account keeps them isolated from one another, so a review on one account doesn't put the rest at risk.
What a proxy doesn't do
Gaming Proxy changes the IP your account connects from, but it doesn't replace the account-level security and restriction mechanisms Jagex enforces. It's worth being clear about that:
It Doesn't Lift an Account Restriction
A restriction or ban Jagex applies is tied to your account, not your IP. Changing your IP with a proxy does not make an already-restricted account playable again.
It Doesn't Cover Third-Party Software Risk
Jagex's rules prohibit third-party automation tools. Gaming Proxy only changes your connection's exit IP; keeping your account within Jagex's rules stays your responsibility.

How to buy a RuneScape proxy

Top up your balance

Create your proxies
Pick the product and where it exits: a quantity of IPs on the per-IP products, one gateway on the per-GB ones. Either way it is live at once, with no order to wait on.
Connect and manage
Authenticate with user:pass or whitelist your server's IP, then point your tools at what the panel gives you: an exported list of addresses, or the gateway's single host:port.
Setting up Proxifier
- Download and install Proxifier.
- Add the IP:Port:Username:Password from your panel to Proxifier's Proxy Servers list.
- Create a rule that routes the RuneScape client through that proxy.
